Ready or Not Wiki

Agent Mike Esperanza alias Alejandro has been exposed as an undercover LSPD agent, and members of the Los Locos have been dispatched to his address to extract their pound of flesh.

Description of "Narcos"

Narcos is a DLC mission in Ready or Not. Agent Mike Esperanza has had his cover blown and Los Locos have arrived at his home to torture and kill him. Screams loud enough to alert the entire neighbourhood have caused an LSPD response. Patrol officers are stretched thin due to Hurricane Antonio, so LSPD SWAT is called to the scene. Meanwhile, Esperanza has escaped his captors and has fled to a different place in the neighbourhood, warranting the Los Locos to search the neighbourhood to find him.

Inside Mike's house

The level starts on the street outside 25 Hope Street. Entering Esperanza's home, there is a severed pig's head on the couch and the words "AQUI SE DESOLLAN A LOS COCHINAS." The floors are covered in blood, rope, clothes and torture instruments. Esperanza's bedroom contains a previously-hidden room containing a radio, computer, LSPD files, and other tools that help him with his job as an undercover officer.

Backyards, Houses, and Enemies[]

Exiting the house, you find yourself in the backyards of multiple homes. The backyards are a cluttered mess, containing lots of broken wood, trash, and broken fencing; the garbage and the setting sun make it hard for the player to spot enemies.

There are 8-10 Los Locos members on this level; they are armed with fully-automatic weapons and body armour - some even have MK18s with red dots and 50-100 round drum magazines. The enemies are very aggressive, erratic, and seem to laugh when engaged in gunfights, hinting at them being under the influence of drugs. Most enemies are located outside the houses, in the backyard area, although they may still appear in homes on occasion and shoot at the player from the windows.

Most of the house are wooden and have been damaged by the storm - most houses contain one civilian that is likely to initially refuse the player's commands; most doors are locked.

Esperanza's Hiding Spot[]

Mike Esperanza

Following the trail of blood that starts at 25 Hope Street, the player ends up at Esperanza's hiding spot - a house; screams for help can be heard from inside. Inside, Mike Esperanza is located but he's gravely injured and in critical condition; he is naked and is covered head-to-toe (except a sock) in long, deep lacerations that span his entire body; some of fingers have been cut of, he had been bitten by a dog, one of his eyes have (possibly) been gouged out. A pool of blood covers most of the floor and Esperanza is unable to stand. If the player begins to exit the home, Esperanza will beg for the player not to leave.
