US airstrikes have targeted villages housing a notorious terrorist group in Northern Yemen, which has ties to US cells. One such cell is known as The Hand, who have enacted a domestic response to the military incursion.

Neon Tomb is the fourteenth playable mission in Ready or Not.

The Story

The terrorist group, The Hand, has committed a mass shooting at the Neon Nightclub in response to US airstrikes targeting their shelters in Northern Yemen. D Platoon has been dispatched to bring an end to the massacre. The mission takes place on April 19th, 2025, making it the chronologically second mission in the story. The attack killed approximately 60 people.

Mission Brief

Team Lead: OK, this is going to be quick and dirty. We've got a suspected terrorist incident unfolding down at the NEON club. Calls are flooding in of an active shooting inside the club. Calls have confirmed the gunmen shot through the crowds on the way in. A Watch 3 car from Midtown Division was driving past and confirmed the building seems to be secured down, with large vehicles blocking the exit points, while the entrance seems to be barricaded from the inside.

Counter-terrorism has confirmed The Hand has claimed responsibility for the attack. We've also had it confirmed by the cyber team that several shooters are live-streaming the attack. Feeds are being cut, but there are channels on the web that operate beyond regular control.

We've got LSPD and paramedics en route, and all local hospitals have been placed on alert to receive victims. There's some big-name act performing tonight, and we all know that NEON isn't averse to stretching their limits beyond capacity limit beyond regulation. Don't kid yourselves, this is going to be a bloodbath, so I want you in there, shutting these assholes down.

Officer: What do we know about the situation inside?

Team Lead: Not much. We've got conflicting numbers, but we know at least four gunmen are armed with automatic weapons. Early studies of the live-stream also have at least one wearing what looks like an explosive vest. They won't hesitate to kill civilians, so we need to stop them before they can do more damage. We can't start saving people until these guys are neutralized. This isn't going to be pretty. So get with your elements and get ready to move.

	Quadamah	Quadamah was born in Yemen and found his way into the company of Abd Allah Ibn Al-Zubayr. After becoming a trusted figure in The Hand, Quadamah was relocated into the United States. This is where the trail runs cold. Intel suggests that Qadamah received his initial instructions to activate The Hand on US soil, and while he remains in contact with al-Zubayr, he has free over how and where The Hand acts. His real name is not known.

The Map

Trivia

• This map may be a reference to or based upon the shooting that occurred at the Pulse Nightclub in Orlando, Florida. The perpetrator was an Arab man who was angered by US intervention in Iraq and Syria.
• Due to a copyright claim regarding this map the entire game was removed temporarily on June 16, 2022. All references to Club Pryzm have since been taken out of Ready or Not and replaced with Club Neon branding instead.
• The nightclub seems to have been at least partially based on the Red Circle nightclub from the 2014 movie John Wick.
• Multiple exits are barricaded from the inside, indicating one or more Hand members infiltrated the club before the attack.
• Sometimes, bomb vests will detonate if shot, but sometimes they won't.
• News reports indicated 60+ people died, but the number of bodies at the club appears higher.
• In the post mission, you can see one of the civilians in the holding cell, containing Zahir and two others; a guard and a man.
  • Zahir and the Guard will no longer be seen later in the game. While the man stays for the remainder of the game.
  • One of the guards will be shown in the questioning room.
  • It's unknown why one of the guards and the man are in the cells.
  • In the files of the AIDataTable, there is a DJ which is unused.
